Organizational Roles & Responsibilities
Sevanti Wellness is a membership-based practitioner support community with multiple roles and responsibilities, as described below. Our leadership team is blessed to include some of the most brilliant clinicians, teachers, advisors, directors, coaches, and mentors of our times. Each brings a unique Jyoti, a radiance of inner light, that illuminates the path to mastery and success for our practitioner members.
Sevanti Wellness operates three practice departments: Ayurveda, Jyotish, and Yoga Therapy. Each department will have one administrative Director and two to four distinguished Advisors. We also operate a Department of Professional Development & Mentorship, which oversees advanced training and mentorships.
Sevanti Wellness Directors

4. Growth and expansion of school partnerships.
5. Search and select members to serve as department Directors and Advisors.
6. Host the monthly Sangha Gathering.
7. Conduct final onboarding interviews with new practitioners

Professional Development & Mentorship Directors

1. PDM Directors serve as the visionary and guiding light for the Department of Professional Development & Mentorship (PDM). They also …
2. Establish policy and best practices for the Department of PDM.
3. Oversee the mentorship program and the practices of our mentors.
4. Attend the monthly Sangha Gathering.
5. Offer a free 60-90 minute monthly Leadership Workshop as part of PDM. PDM Directors may alternate monthly presentations or alternate with department Advisors.
6. Offer quarterly and biannual Leadership Workshops for a reasonable fee. PDM Directors may alternate monthly presentations or alternate with department Advisors.
Department Advisors
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Practitioner departments include Ayurveda, Vedic Astrology, and Yoga Therapy. Advisors serve as department visionaries, guiding the practitioners with their wisdom and experience on a path to success. They also …
2. Serve as mentors to the practitioners within their department. The Professional Development & Mentorship Department oversees mentorship policies.
3. Attend at least one Kula Gathering per month. Provide constructive advice, feedback, and inspiration to the practitioners.
4. Attend the monthly Sangha Gathering.
5. Offer a free 60-90 minute monthly Leadership Workshop as part of PDM. Advisors may alternate monthly presentations or offer concurrent presentations.
6. As part of PDM, offer quarterly and biannual Leadership Workshops for a reasonable fee. Advisors may alternate monthly presentations or offer concurrent presentations.
Department Directors

1. Department Directors serve as the administrative head of their department. They also …
2. Serve as liaison between department team practitioners, Advisors, and SW Directors
3. Host the Kula Gatherings on the department Zoom account
4. Send email & Slack communications regarding Kula Gatherings (scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, agenda updates)
5. Attend leadership meetings and remain current on SW and department policy.
6. Be available for practitioners in your department to answer questions regarding department policy
7. Conduct the initial interview when new team practitioners apply.
